Columbia County Youth

OHA Columbia County Chapter supports the 4-H Columbia County Gunslingers Club.  Gunslingers include shotgun and pistol shooting sports programs.  The Columbia County Chapter has supported the Gunslingers for 3 consecutive years with helping to purchase ammunition for the shotgun and pistol programs.

The Columbia County Charter

The OHA – Columbia County Charter has one major fundraiser a year and a few raffles so that it can support its mission.  Seventy-five percent of the money raised stays in Columbia County.  The rest is used for the statewide Oregon Hunters Association.

The Columbia County Chapter helps wildlife by helping law enforcement find poachers when we can.

It supports the habitat of Columbia County by helping with clean up of Sauvie Island and helping to build blinds for hunting.

The Columbia County Charter supports hunting rights by working with OHA to contact lawmakers on making fair laws for hunting and by supporting youth through 4-H and hunter safety programs.
