I hope that all of you are doing well. I am certainly glad that the rain is letting up and that it is getting warmer. Hope that all of you have made plans for getting your drawing applications in. My brother Charlie and I have already put ours in. Then I discovered that I had not purchase my bear tag. Oh darn, another trip to the sporting goods store.
I cannot express enough how thankful I am for all of the volunteers that spent many hours to make our banquet a success. It takes hundreds of hours of volunteer time. And then Gene Chouinard spends many more hours to get the paperwork done. Thank you Gene.
It is not too early to start thinking about our next banquet to be held on February 24, 2018. We always need donated items. If you know of anyone who has some great clearance sales on anything hunting or camping, get those items and donate them to our chapter. It will make a tremendous difference. Mark your calendar for our annual picnic to be held on July 29th. We will hold the summer raffle on that date. We will let you know soon what the raffle item will be.
Please give us some feedback on what you would like it to be.
